My macaroni burger was fantastic: the double patties were perfection, the pasta al dente, the cheesy sauce rich and tasty! My kids got the classic burger and the hot dog. We split an order of Main Street cheesy tots with old bay and ate every last crispy, cheesy bite. Everything was great and came out quickly. The server was kind and remembered the whole order without writing a thing down; a skill that I appreciate having worked in the industry years ago. The prices were totally inline with the excellent quality food and service. The joint was clean, pretty quiet, and welcoming. I really dig the leftist punk vibes and local feel, but at the same time I felt totally comfortable bringing kids here. After we finished our meal we walked along the tow path and enjoyed laughing at adorable turtles while marveling butterflies and flowers. If you're considering a grille in Manayunk, this is the spot! “ This review is based on take out only! We have passed it a few times, but one fine lazy evening, I didn't feel like making food, and really wanted a burger. Husband suggested Lucky's last chance! So glad we did that, called and placed the order, the person on the phone was nice enough to explain the availability of so many different types of fries, we chose to get simple fries and the almost inferno. Burger. It's one of the best burgers I have had to date. It is definitely on the hotter side, but that's how I like my food. ”
